Piazza Indipendenza
Walking route to Via Marghera 37.
Walk from Piazza Indipendenza ↗Castro Pretorio is the Termini neighbourhood on the Via Marsala side: hotels, offices, students and the National Library. La Lupa is right here, at Via Marghera 37.

The name comes from the Castra Praetoria, the camp of ancient Rome’s Praetorian Guard, whose walls still stand in long stretches. Today Castro Pretorio is the district north-east of Termini station: streets of hotels and early twentieth-century buildings around Piazza Indipendenza, the National Central Library on Viale Castro Pretorio and, a little further on, the university campus.
La Lupa is at Via Marghera 37, about five minutes on foot from Piazza Indipendenza and about eleven minutes from the National Library, on OpenStreetMap’s walking route.

Walk from National Library ↗If you study or work at Sapienza, the Città universitaria is about 900 metres from La Lupa: restaurant near Sapienza University.
If you work or study in the area you want a proper lunch without losing the afternoon. The kitchen opens at 12:00 and stays open until 23:00, so a 1 pm lunch works as well as a later meal after a meeting. One Roman pasta is enough: carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe or gricia. For a full lunch at a clear price there is the €30 La Lupa menu.
